buying my first electric guitar?

i've been playing the guitar for 6-ish months now and i'm planning on buying my first.
I'm going to buy an electric and i know i want a solid body, a very thin neck b/c i have very small hands, with a 25-1/2 or lower scale range, nice intonation, and i prefer a neck-through connection btw the neck and the guitar, i just want 22 frets and idc bout the finish. I'd prefer a stoptail bridge and idk about pickup and about tuning and about wood type. What is pickup really, and what should i do about tuning and what kind of wood is the best, and most importantly how much money do you think this will cost?

For the guy who posted above, you didnt read what he was looking for in his guitar. He said a stop bridge and a neck though the body not a bolted on one. For you I would go with something in the Gibson line or their cheaper version epiphone. Have a take a look at their SG or the Les Paul. Has a neck through design, the neck is fairly thin. You can choose whatever type of finish you want. There are a variety of the same model you can choose from a standard shiny finish to a faded finish. I really wouldnt worry about the wood type. Since your just starting you wouldnt really notice the difference in tone from the wood esp with an electric. Most of your tone is going to come from the type of amp you buy. The gibsons come with the humbucker pickups. Most have a stoptail bridge, however you can find some with a floating bridge, but the majority is a stop bridge. These guitars meet most of your criteria, but I doubt this first guitar will be your perfect guitar. But these guitars will cost about 450 for the lower end stuff from epiphone to the 1000 for a Gibson.

Your best bet however would always be to go to a guitar store and just play a bunch of different guitars and see which one suits you best. Good luck.
