Best bass amp?
I'm looking for an amp with 250-500 Watts that is between 200-500 dollars. I play a five string Fender Deluxe Jazz, and I need good tone for the extreme low end. Please Help!
Ampeg might be the way to go due to your price range.A VERY reputable company with "starter" model amps,all the way up to the top dollar big boys.Hughes & Kettner also make some great bass amps ,though a little more pricey.Hartke also is a brand you might want to check out....."guitarcenter.com" has alot of models to choose from with user reviews right there to read from ACTUAL musicians.Hope this helps you...do you want "solid state?"(no tubes just transistors).."tube" (tubes in preamp and power section)..or "hybrid"(tube preamp,solid state power?)...There are pros and cons for each type.Hope this helps good luck...
