Good, free bass lessons online?
I looked all over the Internet but can't find any good free beginner lessons for playing bass guitar. There are some really good free sites for playing guitar out there (justinguitar.com comes to mind), but I can't find any for bass. I don't want to use YouTube since it's very unorganized and mostly just a few clips. I'm looking for a site with good quality video lessons + text information and in a well organized sequence (important). Please recommend me any. Another question, is it true you can play bass if you're good at guitar? Because they seem like fairly different instruments (number of strings, etc.).

I agree, you can't find a complete organized course of bass lessons on line for free (and you probably never will).
